Catch a Falling Star

By Momsprim • Aug 10th, 2008 • Category: Travel & Social Life

On my quest to share with you some really wonderful places to visit with your husband, partner, girlfriends or tour group, here is a great little place on the western tip of Jamaica in the popular beach town of Negril. The property is called Catcha Falling Star and I’m going to reprint the copy that the owners have on their website at www.catchajamaica.com.

There are many places to stay in Negril on the cliffs…but where else will you be pampered at a cliff property unlike any other on the planet… Catcha Falling Star Resort on the Negril Cliffs..

Our lovely little Negril cliff resort property overlooks the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Catcha Falling Star is truly the “Gem of Jamaica”. Nestled among the tops of the Negril cliffs of the West End with a spectacular view of the sea below will make you want to “linger longer” in Negril, Jamaica! These seaside cliff cottages capture the true essence and ambiance of Jamaica.

Take a few minutes to follow the path down to the water. Be sure that you bring your snorkeling equipment so that you may fully enjoy our private swimming, sunning and diving cove.

The view of the sea, the world famous Rick’s Cafe and the Negril lighthouse from the cliffs here at Catcha

Falling Star will be unforgettable. And of course you will have your own private sunset each night! Make sure to look for the Green Flash!

And Nan and Az will be available each morning to serve you breakfast right on your own private veranda. Bon Appetit!

  1. I LOVE this place. People from Ja.com joke that they made it so popular talking about it that they can’t get a room there now. LOL

It really does stay booked, and they are constantly adding improvements. When they get those love pools operational around the bar it is going to be the BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even if you are not staying there, you can go there for dinner, and the food is EXCELLENT. I have personally dubbed Ivan’s bar the prettiest one in Jamaica.

This is one lovely lovely place
