Picking Up New Skills

Whether you choose to get that Bachelor of Arts degree you never finished, the Masters Degree you’ve always wanted or that quick 12 month paralegal training certification program you’ve had your eye on for a while, education is a win-win situation for a mom with a little extra time on her hands.
Focusing on your education needs will enable you to better prepare yourself for the career change or new business you’ve always wanted to start. It may just allow you to do what you’re currently doing better and more efficiently.
Whatever your goal, just don’t put off any longer. If children going off to college or finishing high school has allowed you to have a little more extra time during the week, don’t let something else take your time away from YOU.
Continuing education is not just good for your career plans or business, it is a personally satisfying pursuit that allow you to expand your horizons in ways that you may have no idea of at the beginning.
The important thing is to start. Get a program calendar from your local college, university or community continuing education department. Start looking at those programs that are aligned to your dreams for personal growth and financial security. Don’t hesitate to talk to a guidance counselor to ensure that your questions are answered…correctly.
Then get ready to rock your world. Woo hoo you’re going back to school!
Momsprim is just entering her prime years and looking forward to the adventures ahead!
