15-Minutes “to waste”

By Momsprim • Dec 22nd, 2008 • Category: Mothering to Mentoring

I couldn’t believe it when my daughter asked if I had 15-minutes to waste on Sunday evening.

Up until now I had mercifully been spared the whole issue of establishing curfews. My teen son seemed quite happy to stay home during the week with his family. He was also quite happy with our arrangement of no malls and no driving in cars driven by teens.
Well that all seems to be changing now.  [...]

Safety and Your Teen’s First Job

By Momsprim • Aug 10th, 2008 • Category: Mothering to Mentoring

Do you remember that there was a time when you wouldn’t let your child put anything in their mouth that you hadn’t first sanitized and inspected with an eagle eye? Remember going over with them in careful detail how important it was to look both ways before crossing the street?
Well today those children are teens [...]
