Travel and Leisure’s Choice for Caribbean Heaven

By Momsprim • Nov 7th, 2008 • Category: Travel & Social Life

Well I had planned to talk this week about reasons why you should try Christmas in the Caribbean this year …but then I came across a property I had visited but never stayed at and now this is on my list of places to go.

Jamaica Inn…it’s a private, family owned property located in beautiful Ocho Rios.

Last January, Travel and Leisure Magazine named Jamaica Inn #1 in Jamaica and #3 in the Caribbean.

Since 1950, Jamaica Inn has consistently been ranked as one of the top resort hotels and vacation destinations in the Caribbean.

Jamaica Inn is a small “elegantly timeless resort situated on what many consider to be the premier private beach in Jamaica.”

Here’s what they say on their website:

Jamaica Inn’s crowning glory are its accommodations — spacious, impeccable and very tasteful. Beds are always freshly made, even after an afternoon nap. There are no TVs, Radios or Clocks to intrude between guest and rest. The cool sea breezes filter through louvered shutters. For the occasional lull, ceiling fans and air conditioning provide comfort.

Each suite has a private balustraded balcony or large veranda overlooking the water. Balconies and verandas come complete with a full sized sofa, wing chair, breakfast table, writing desk and coffee table.
The property’s suites are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans and your choice of king or twin beds.

For more information you can visit Jamaica Inn’s website at www.jamaicainn.com or call 1-800-837-4608.
